It takes about an hour each season to add in all of the recurring meeting requests etc. We then print the calendar from Cozi for our bulletin board each week. (We don't need to attend the 6th grade strings concert, but we do go to the 2nd grade cub scout event).Īnd I am about to add in another Google calendar for events we might want to attend- that is the category I lose track of most often. Then each week I will review any changes and copy to appropriate google calendar. We add in the google calendar feeds from the schools/ activities with a lighter color of the corresponding child. We have a travel calendar/ color for grandparents so we can see when they are in town. In addition in our google calendar each child has a calendar/ color for their school stuff/ activities/ therapies. We can both check the house gmail calendar from our work computers. So we invite the "house" on our business trip meeitng requests. We use this email as the main calendar that we send meeting requests to for travel on our work calendars. And we swore we would not do that again- way too stressful. We once handed off our baby at the security line in the airport as one was arriving and the other was leaving.
Since we often need to book work travel in the moment, we needed a way to track if the other spouse was traveling at the same time. But then that stopped and we have to come up with a workaround.
